In which Chase holds props

We worked on costumes for the past 2 1/2 days and I only have two photos to show today.

First, I finished my Fionna sword!

I wanted a sword to carry with Fionna, so I found this toy one I had, that had a broken handle. I made a bow for it (reinforced with plastic) with some plastic greeblies and some sequins for sparkle.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

And here’s the staff for my last costume.

MY STAFF GLOWS!!The resin cast rose, attached to the staff and all lit up! When I was a kid, I had the Glimmer action figure. I remember ESPECIALLY loving her rose staff. I hadn't had her long when I took her over to a friend's house to play with. I ended up losing her, and the staff, somewhere at this friend's house and never saw her again. I took pictures of some other things but the paint needed touching up very badly so I didn’t post them. Another thing to add to the to-do list tonight (sigh!)

Tonight, I’ve still got to:
-finish attaching boot fronts
-get placement for shoulder armor figured out/snaps attached
-hem chase’s shirt
-take up chase’s pants
-make sash for chase
-finish hemming chase’s cape
-put velcro on chase’s cape
-put velcro on batgirl gauntlets

And then finish packing and clean…
